Latest Photo Shoot

I love our photo shoots with the boys. I always get their pictures done 3 times a year... a little excessive I know, but I can't help myself. We do their birthdays, spring and then a family shoot around Christmas. Recently we had our Spring photos done. This year we were able to have a friend of Chris' take them. I'm glad we did because we were able to get some more candid shots. Less poses and more of the kids being themselves. I love how they turned out! Here are just a few for your enjoyment and because I like showing off my kids. :0D

Books

I'm a reader. I don't get through nearly as many books in a year as I would like, but still I enjoy it and am always looking for my next read. Recently I've been hearing a lot about The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society so I decided to give it a shot. Wow am I glad I did. What an amazing book. I've always been interested in WWII and what happened, but hearing about it from this point of view was so eye opening to me. It made the struggle of what happened to real people so much more real to me. It's not a sad book at all, quite the opposite actually, The characters have so much life to them. And it's so easy to get lost in. I got to part two and couldn't put it down! I'm so glad I picked up this book!!!

Baseball Season

Logan has started playing baseball down in St. George. His team is the Athletic's and he loves playing which is great. We don't get a whole lot of updates and news from down there, but we were lucky enough to get some of his first game.

Easter - Better Late Than Never

Easter this year was really fun. We had Logan for half the weekend which was nice. Friday Chris' mom, sister and nephew came over and we dyed Easter Eggs. Chris' mom bought some egg spinner things that were really cute. You put the dye in with an egg, snapped on the lid and pressed the button. The egg would spin around and it made some pretty cool designs on them. Saturday we went to my sister neighborhood for an egg hunt. It was cold and there was snow, but they still had a great time.

Later in the afternoon we got the kids out of the house so the Easter Bunny could come. Chris made a special call to him and he agreed to come a day early since Logan wouldn't be with us on Sunday. When we got home the kids were so excited to see their baskets and the eggs hidden throughout the house. Logan got a new Monster Jam video game and Myles got An American Tail. They both found a bunch of eggs and we now have way to much candy in the house.

Easter Sunday we first went to Grandma and Grandpa's for a fabulous brunch. Thanks for the great food Grandma. After that we went to my sister's house for another egg hunt with all the cousins and dinner. We had such a great time. I love being with my family. They always make holidays enjoyable. We missed Mom and Dad who were lucky enough to be warm down in St. George. You really were missed!!!

I also get to say that I am so thankful for this great day. I'm so blessed to have the knowledge of the Atonement and I'm so grateful that the Savior would lay down his life for me so that I can be with my family always.
